Page views

We count visits with Vercel Web Analytics, run by our host, Vercel. It uses no cookies and no cross-site identifier. It records the page, the referring site, and the browser, operating system, device type and country of each visit. Vercel tells a returning visitor apart within a day using a hash of the request, which it discards after 24 hours; it does not store your IP address in analytics. Booking-button clicks

When you click a “Check prices” button, our short link (/go/…) writes one line to our server log: the inn, the booking site, where the button was on the page, the path of the page you came from, and whether the request looked like an automated crawler. We do not store your IP address or any identifier in that line. When custom events are enabled on our Vercel plan, the click is also counted in Vercel Web Analytics as an anonymous event with two details: the booking site and where the button was.

Like any web host, Vercel handles your IP address to deliver pages and keeps its own short-lived request logs. After you leave for Agoda, Trip.com or Booking.com — sometimes via Travelpayouts, see our affiliate disclosure — their own privacy policies and cookies apply.

Fonts, photos and the map are served from this site; your browser does not contact Google Fonts, Wikimedia or a map provider while you read. Every photo is from Wikimedia Commons and credited — see photo credits.
