Hotel group tattoo policies
Some Japanese hotel groups publish operator-level rules or guidance on tattoos in their baths. Here is each group's own wording, quoted, with its exceptions, what it covers and the group's stays we have checked.

How to read a group rule
Operator-level rules or guidance tell you where the group starts from, not what every property does. A group can exclude some facilities (Prince Hotels says some may be outside its change), a property may have no hot-spring bath, and a property can publish its own wording. That is why each stay keeps its own status and source in our register.
