The evidence
Printed on paper for easy reading — what we searched and what we found.
We searched the official site (ibuku.jp) — bath, FAQ, house-rules and terms pages — and found nothing about tattoos. We did find a private hot-spring bath, listed on the inn's official site: it may provide an alternative, but the inn has not stated a tattoo rule (our inference). Confirm before booking.
- The inn is listed under this area, but it is some distance away (see below).
- Location: Actually in Miyahama Onsen on the mainland (Hatsukaichi), not on Miyajima island.

Ask the inn before you book
Send this in Japanese by email or the inn's contact form. It asks about the shared bath, covering, and private baths.
